In the team's channel
- Announcements: when leave is approved, or a holiday is added, Sup! posts "Upcoming leave on (date)" or "Upcoming holiday on (date)" with who, the type and the reason. Private leave types show as Time off, without a reason. If the leave is cancelled, the post changes to say so.
- Daily digest: at 8 AM on working days, "Today's Leaves/Holidays" lists who's off today.
- Weekly digest: at 6 PM on the last working day of the week, "Next week's Leaves/Holidays" lists next week's holidays and leave.
Public holidays are announced in the channels of every team with people at that location.
Slack status
If someone chose a Slack status for their leave (or the team has a default), Sup! sets it on their Slack profile when the leave starts and clears it when the leave ends or is cancelled. People need to have given Sup! permission to update their Slack profile.
Follow-ups
Approved full-day leave pauses that person's follow-ups for those days. Follow-ups still run on half days.
